Dr. Andrew Franklin, DPM, Ph.D
Originally from Essex, UK. Dr. Franklin moved to the United States in 2007 to complete a post-doctorate in Organic Chemistry at FSU. From there he moved to Cleveland, Ohio to study Podiatric medicine at Ohio college of Podiatric Medicine (now Kent State) and then stayed on to complete his surgical residency with the Cleveland Clinic. Dr Franklin moved to Ocala in 2018 to be closer to his in-laws (who live in Ocala) and was an associate podiatrist in the area until opening his own practice (Ocala Podiatry) in December 2023.
As a board certified podiatrist Dr. Franklin enjoys working closely with his patients within a relaxed but professional manner. He believes in empowering his patients by their understanding of associated conditions in order to encourage a team philosophy that can help alleviate or even prevent many foot and ankle ailments.
Dr. Franklin is married with two young boys (who currently have no intention in following into podiatry) outside of work he enjoys many sports and has become an avid pickleball player since living in Florida. He also enjoys travelling with his family and spending time outdoors whenever possible.
